Editorial policy
How we report, and what we will not publish.
Sources
Temple news comes from the temple, its trust or the endowment department, and the source is named in the story. We do not present other media, creators or social posts as the source of our reporting. Every piece is our own writing.
Fact and faith
A legend is told as tradition ("Tradition holds…"). A belief is told as belief ("Devotees believe…"). History is stated with its source. A health or science benefit is stated only with a named study; otherwise it is described as tradition.
What we do not publish
- Politics: elections, parties, politicians' statements, or comparison between religions.
- Fear, guilt, promises of results from a ritual, astrology predictions, or medical advice.
- Booking, donation or seva links that are not the temple's official ones.
- Names or details that identify children or victims.
Languages
Each story is written once and published in five languages. Numbers, dates and times are checked to match in every language. If a translation reads wrongly, please tell us.
Pictures
We use our own pictures, official handouts with credit, and openly licensed images. We follow each temple's photography rules.
